You should protect your free time fiercely. What do we mean by this? When you have some free time, be careful not to think about work, and be mindful not to bring work home.

Keep yourself organized.

Keeping your life clutter-free means that you are in control of your life whether you are in the office or at home. It is easy to prioritize, to adjust, and to enjoy life when you are not bogged down by the confusion and stress that come from being disorganized. Organize your desk and your schedule. If you see something you do not need, trash it. You will feel better and in control afterwards.

Be good at what you do.

The fastest way to achieve a work-life balance is to love or at least be satisfied and contented with what you do. You will spend most of your time at work. It will be difficult to be happy with your life if you hate it. Keep a positive attitude towards your work and enjoy doing what you know best.
