Many of us have moved short distances, but sometimes a new job or other opportunity requires us to move to a completely different part of the country, or even to another country entirely. These moves require a little more planning than your typical move across town.
Are you a procrastinator, or do you like to wade in and take charge? Do you make mental lists, or do you write everything down? Knowing how you approach projects will help you determine the best way to prioritize your packing and make your move as stress-free as possible.
Your last two days before moving may find you with your head in your hands, wondering how you’re going to get finished in time. Let all activities not related to your move fall by the wayside for now and focus on finishing up the packing, cleaning, etc., still to be done.
Sometimes moves take us hundreds of miles from our hometown-to new states, countries, or even continents. These moves are harder to plan for, and require a bit more work to pull off successfully.
